Before a single envelope was opened, the 2026 Emmys began where Hollywood makes some of its boldest statements: the red carpet. Romantic silhouettes and vintage-inspired glamour, sculptural gowns, sharp custom tailoring, archival treasures, and high jewelry dominated the scene as television's biggest stars turned the arrivals into a runway.
Selena Gomez and Colman Domingo led the Latino representation, looking sharp and securing their position among the best dressed. Marcello Hernández and his mom went for classic and elegant outfits. Host Mariska Harguitay, Zendaya and Nicole Kidman arrived, slayed, and made fashion history, as did Lisa Kudrow, Chase Infinity and Sarah Michelle Geller.
"The Pitt" leads this year's field with 25 nominations, putting its cast at the center of the fashion conversation, while the stars of "Hacks," "Pluribus," "Beef," and "DTF St. Louis" will bring their own mix of prestige and personality to the carpet. "Hacks," which earned 24 nominations, has become almost as dependable for polished red-carpet glamour as it is for awards-season recognition. Meanwhile, the actors from newer contenders have an opportunity to use fashion as an introduction, transforming one standout look into the image audiences remember long after the ceremony.
Afro-Latino actor Colman Domingo , a double nominee for "The Four Seasons" and "Euphoria," didn't disappoint with a collarless suit in jewel tones. Oscar Isaac, also a nominee, was among the dapper gentlemen on the carpet with a cream jacket tuxedo without a tie or a bow.
Mariska entered the carpet in a vibrant and red dress and two fresh wins for her documentary "My Mom Jayne," giving her an especially personal reason to celebrate. Hargitay's arrival, and the succession of looks she may wear throughout the broadcast, are among the evening's most closely watched fashion moments. Julie Andrews, David Harbor, Linda Cardellini, Ernest Harden Jr., and the late Rob Reiner were also among the winners honored during the Creative Arts Emmys ahead of the main telecast.
