Zoe Henry is in fear of the sack from Emmerdale should she spill the beans on the soap’s 50th anniversary storylines.
Emmerdale’s 50th anniversary will bring a month of celebrations in October. We know old favourites will be returning, there will be a major storm and we’ll see the exit of at least one beloved character.
All these major storylines means acting stars have to be careful not to give any major spoilers away. Zoe Henry, 48, who plays Rhona Goskirk, appeared on Lorraine and discussed the severity of giving too much away.

When asked what she could reveal about the 50th anniversary, Zoe joked: “Not much as I’ll probably lose my job, if I do.” She then added: “Yes, there’s a storm and there’s some heavy duty wind machines. I think it will be quite a roller coaster and it’ll be worth tuning in.”
The star, who is married to castmate Jeff Hordley, then spoke about Emmerdale’s importance to so many. “It is an achievement by any standards to run for this long,” Zoe explained.
“People invest in that. They love seeing characters they’ve seen for the last 20 or 30 years.”
