Emmerdale writer Sharon Marshall has teased major spoilers on who could die following Al and Cain's explosive showdown and it’s not Kerry Wyatt.
During Tuesday’s episode of This Morning Sharon revealed that the soap is set to kill off a character during tonight’s episode.
Last night's Emmerdale viewers saw Al Chapman and Cain Dingle get into a heated argument which left both their lives in danger.

Cain found out about his sister Chas’ affair with Al which resulted in him and Al fighting with a gun which left with the gun being fired.
However viewers didn’t get to see who the gunshot hit but many fans were convinced that Kerry Wyatt might be the unlucky victim, given she was randomly near the barn where it happened, The Mirror reports.
But a new preview clip has ruled her out as the victim, meaning either Cain or Al could be injured if not dead. While on This Morning Sharon spilled the beans and appeared to confirm the scenes will result in a death but she remained tight-lipped on who.
Speaking to hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield, she said that one cast member had very little lines left to rehearse, before saying someone was "out".
Phil had asked: "We heard a gun go off. Has someone been shot?" Sharon revealed: "Well there were theories that Kerry had got shot, but it's clearly not her. Erm, yeah, that gun has fired and somebody doesn't have too much more dialogue to learn, let's put it that way. They're just out, yeah. That's tonight."
Phillip asked: "Someone big?" she told the pair: "Let's just say that it's the start of a huge new storyline. That is probably all I am allowed to say on it. It's a goody."
Emmerdale’s Cain Dingle actor Jeff Hordley recently admitted that he is "worried" about his character’s future on the ITV soap.
The star has been on Emmerdale for 22 years and has played a number of huge roles including his current storyline for the soap's 50th anniversary celebration.
While on ITV’s Loose Women he said: "From here, there are some really good stories. When you do stories like this, you have got to have the ripple effect afterwards. This causes certain ripples throughout for various characters within the village. Whether that is me, I can't tell you."
Asked if the big drama ever left him worried he could be dropped from the show, he said: "I'm worried every year. We are only on a year's contract at a time so everybody is nervous."
