Emmerdale viewers were quick to spot a major name blunder as Cathy opened up to Bernice after her outburst.
Last night Cathy lost it in a violent outburst and decided to smash up Heath’s guitar after raging at Bob in the café. During tonight’s episode of the ITV soap Cathy finally revealed what was troubling her.
Brenda and Bob received a phone call from Cathy’s school after she decided to run out of her mock exam. Bernice spots Cathy running outside the house and debates going to the woolpack to tell Bob.

Instead, Bernice decided to check up on Cathy and spotted her washing her skirt in the sink at home. Cathy was hesitant to open up but after she calmed down she confided in Bernice and told her that she’s suffering from heavy periods.
Bernice offered her support and advice to Cathy but the youngester begged her not to tell anyone, especially Bob about what's going on.
Cathay apologises to Bernice for lashing out at her yesterday, she said: “I’m sorry about yesterday, about what I said. I just lose my temper sometimes. I just don’t want it to be like this.”
Bernice got her name wrong and said: “Aw Gabby, I do remember being a young woman.” Bernice asked: “Have you tried talking to your dad?” Cathay looked horrified as she replied: “God no. Cringe.”
“What about Wendy, she's a nurse,” Bernice went on. Cathay explained: “No, because then she will tell me bad and I’ll get all moody, I just hate that.”
Cathy promised Bernice that she’ll talk to Manpreet about how to manage her symptoms. Viewers went straight to social media and shared their reaction to the moment Bernice accidentally called Cathy Gabby as well as praised the Emmerdale for introducing a “relatable” storyline.
