Emmerdale fans have made a prediction about Cathy's return after she left the show in the latest episode on Bank Holiday Monday night, May 1.
Cathy left to go stay with Scott in the latest episode, meaning she won't be seen on the soap for a while. After an emotional farewell with her family, she drove off with her dad to her new life.
However, fans of the show don't think we've seen the last of Cathy (although quite a few *wish* they'd seen the last of her).

Instead, many are convinced she'll be back, but she might look a little different. Actually, they think she might look a lot different.
They think she may return with a new actor and a completely reworked personality. After all, Cathy, in her current guise, isn't proving terribly popular with viewers, and it's common practice for child actors to disappear and be changed when they return on soaps.
