Emmerdale viewers furious with Caleb as Kyle tells police he killed Al

New Year’s Eve wasn’t so happy for some on Emmerdale after Kyle Wincester was arrested for the muder of Al Chapman.

Kyle, 11, told the police he had shot Al despite Caleb’s attempt to stop him from spilling the beans. He was arrested by the police yesterday (Friday) after turning up to the station with a jumper with blood on it but was released on bail pending investigations.

Worried mum Amy cried worrying that Kyle would be taken away from her following the confession. Cain, who pleaded guilty to the murder of Al, was left fuming after Moira visited him in prison and told him that Kyle had confessed to the killing.

Moira also revealed that Caleb swore he had nothing to do with it and had recommended a lawyer. Cain told her: “They’ve got nothing ok. So we don’t panic. It’s just Kyle’s word, we’ll tell them that he was lying to protect his father.”

This left viewers all saying the same thing about Caleb who seems to be in “busy in everyone’s business”. Twitter user @Picky737 said: “Caleb is getting a bit too busy in everyone's business¡#emmerdale”

@Bradleycoombes7 said: “Nice going caleb. Arrive and ruin the dingle family #emmerdale” @MeeshyJay said: “Can’t stand Caleb. He’s been there five minutes and he’s involved in almost every scene stirring it #emmerdale”

@ch3zkm said: “Caleb only introduced himself to the Dingles a couple of days ago, all of a sudden he's in and out of houses and carrying on like he's head of the family, they all just accept it no questions asked. Just day to day life in #Emmerdale apparently”
