Emmerdale viewers condemned Paddy's actions after he used his daughter Eve 'as a pawn' during an argument with Chas Dingle.
Everything went downhill after he discovered his wife Chas had an affair with Al Chapman.
Two months ago, Chas was planning to leave the village forever to set up a new life with her secret lover, but their plans never came to be as Al was shot dead by Kyle at the end of October.
And on Friday evening, Chas showed up at the house to give their daughter Eve a little Christmas present, much to the surprise of Paddy.
He started off calm, allowing Chas to tuck Eve into bed and hang out, but he eventually lost his patience and yelled at her and called her out for gifting them matching pyjamas 'like they're a cosy happy family' when it is furthest from the truth.
"I don't think you should come round tomorrow, I think you should stay away," he told Chas.
After telling him she never meant to hurt him, he told her: "I think you should go."
"Fine, but I'll be back in the morning," she said, but he shut that down. She added: "You can't stop me from seeing Eve."
Paddy responded: "If you would have run off with Al, I wouldn't have seen Eve on Christmas Day," but Chas denied his accusations.
"Liar!," he yelled at her before adding: "We're going to have a nice quiet Christmas and you're not invited."
Fans were disappointed with his reaction and took to social media to criticise his decision to uninvite Chas.
"Paddy, I appreciate you feel so hurt a betrayed by Chas and that's you're right but you shouldn't be punishing Eve by keeping Chas away on Christmas Day!" one user said.

Another user commented: "I understand the anger but I hate children used as a pawn."
One user added: "Paddy being a d**k using Eve disgusting...."
"Of course come Christmas, Eve will want her mum and Paddy will have to give in and let Chas see her," another wrote.
Lucy Pargeter, who plays Chas, recently admitted she is doubtful that her character’s marriage to Paddy will be able to survive the affair.
Lucy said: "Paddy would be totally and utterly devastated. I don't know if he could ever get over it, but it would be interesting to see how he would react and whether he would react in the way people would think he would."
Asked if she's worried about their future, Lucy replied: "Yes, I'm absolutely terrified."
