Emmerdale viewers 'despise' blackmail plot twist

Emmerdale viewers were furious to see Sandra get away with blackmailing Rishi despite being confronted on Friday's episode.

Over the last few weeks, Sandra has been digging her claws into an emotionally broken Rishi. She previously catfished him with a fake dating account before standing him up only to swoop in and "console" him afterwards.

Since then she has been blackmailing him over an affair they had together that night and managed to drain his bank account in the process. Mandy had her suspicions something was wrong with Rishi and recently spotted Sandra stealing money on CCTV.

Mandy has noticed Rishi looking recently deflated and managed to piece together the two cases. She confronted Sandra with the CCTV video but quickly found out all of the footage was gone. Sandra took it in her stride and played the victim card whilst Mandy ran off to discover what happened to the tape.

The shocking twist left viewers fuming as they hoped Sandra finally paid the price. One viewer said: "Absolutely despise Sandra."

Another added: "I feel so bad for rishi Sandra playing him like this she’s really got no morals at all."

A third viewer said: "Sandra is such a vile human being."

A final comment added: "Can Sandra not open her mouth without spewing lies."

Mandy's son, Vinny, revealed the footage only stays on the camera for 48 hours which meant the evidence had been fully wiped. Frustrated by what had happened Mandy accepted defeat and threw her head into her hands despite knowing the truth.
