Emmerdale fans say the soap could be 'struggling' and 'jumping the shark' after Bob and Bernice almost kissed in the same episode that Liam and Wendy began an affair.
Fans were left complaining that Emmerdale is running out ideas and delivering storylines based on affair after affair.
The episode saw Liam and Wendy sit on a couch and enjoy some wine and a heart-to-heart talk. The steamy talk had viewers predicting sex would be in the air before long.

During the conversation, Wendy hinted quite strongly at a make-out session, which Liam seemed oblivious too, leading to fans branding him "slow". Liam was so laboured in reading the air viewers likened his struggles to getting an appointment with a GP at the moment.
Fans were left unimpressed by a yet another storyline built around an affair. Although Bob and Bernice failed to kiss, twice, furious viewers branded the episode "explicit" and others expressed shock at the "shock affair".
And Twitter went into a meltdown, before the episode even concluded.
