Emmerdale viewers "switched off" just minutes into Tuesday's episode after finding one storyline too hard to watch.
Rhona was again visiting Marlon in hospital as he continues to recover from his stroke. The two were hopeful Marlon could be sent home as he'd been away for some weeks.
Meanwhile, Bear, Gail and Faith were gossiping about Marlon and Rhona in the Woolpack. Gail said Rhona "has to fix things" and "takes it hard" if she can't.

When a consultant told Rhona Marlon couldn't go home yet, she was saddened and angered, while Marlon struggled to speak as he lay in the bed. And many Emmerdale fans said they found it too sad to watch.
Taking to Twitter, Mich said: "I've had to switch #Emmerdale off already, can't watch Marlon any more it's making me too sad". Linda Morgan said: "I can’t watch this Emmerdale it’s too sad with Marlon’s stroke."
Jordan Phelps simply said: "Marlon" with a broken heart emoji. Deluca Evans said: "Surely they could get him a carer".
Later scenes saw Rhona walk into the Woolpack to discover the topic of the bar staff's conversation. She fumed: "We've failed him, and nobody seems to care".
