Emmerdale's Isobel Steele and Danny Miller have teased drama ahead as Aaron Dingle finally returns to the village.
Danny is making his return to the ITV soap to mark the 50th anniversary next month, and actress Isobel has already teased that there's a dramatic moment as soon as Aaron steps into the village. Liv is being tricked by her mum Sandra and her evil accomplice Terry, with both of them keen to secure the house Liv owns off her and push her back into her alcoholism.
However, when Aaron makes his surprise return to the village, he immediately finds himself confronting Terry and a lot of drama ensues. As Aaron is carted away in a police van, this was not the homecoming he had hoped.
Speaking about the scenes, Isobel told The Mirror and other press: "Well, I think it's one bond that you can't really ever lose. I think it's that they do have the opportunity to make up and being away I think has made him realise that he needs to be there for her.
"He wants to try and make amends. I think that kind of bond that they've got and everything they went through. It's a bond that will never break really. I think it's just damaged for the short term."
Isobel feels Liv will find it hard to forgive her brother for abandoning her in her time of need.
"I think it's a little bit harder for her than simply saving the day. It's something she's really struggled with over the year," she said, "I know she's been, has been married and she's working on other relationships, but that him leaving the village was a massive hole in her life and she's really had to work to get over that. So to sort of letting him back in would require a lot of forgiveness and understanding most of all, why he left, because I don't think that she got the answers that she wanted."
In the dramatic scenes, Liv finds herself unconscious and rushed to hospital, as Aaron questions whether it was wrong for him to come back and make his amends. Will Liv be ok and can Aaron make it up to his sister who previously said she could never forgive him?
Actor Danny added: "I think in terms of reconciling with Liv, I think it was unfortunate that he left at that time because she was in prison. They wanted to play the storyline that she was going to prison and stuff so I didn't have much time.
"She was in prison and I was saying, I'm really sorry, I'm gonna get you out, but I'm going. It was unfortunate that he had to leave in that way because I think they've always been so strong. However it's, it's made for a better return because it's a nice way of coming back into the show and him reconciling with Liv, but also having a bit of drama with every other story that's going on in the village."
