Emmerdale actress Natalie J. Robb has revealed there are no plans for Moira Dingle to embark on another affair, this time with her new brother-in-law Caleb Miligan.
The actress shut down a possible love twist for her character, despite a string of flings in the past on the ITV soap.
In 2019, Moira cheated on husband Cain Dingle with Nate Robinson - who she later found out was Cain's secret son.
But despite Cain's ongoing prison drama, Moira actress Natalie said they were for keeps this time - and Moira would not play away.
She also shut down theories on Caleb and Moira having an affair after his arrival - therefore ruling out fans' current theory about the newcomer using Moira to get revenge on Cain.
Speaking to The Mirror and other press recently, Natalie teased her character had a "clean slate", while she did hint at a feud with Cain's sister Chas Dingle over her affair with Al Chapman.
She told us: "No that's not on the cards at all at this stage. All I can say is she doesn't see anything like that with Caleb. She is pleased [Cain] has this extended family because of her relationship with Faith, and that there's a connection there.
"No, [an affair is] not on the cards and in fact, I think after everything that has happened… hopefully she's got a clean slate now. I'm sure plenty of other women will [like Caleb]."
Natalie also spilled on what was ahead for Moira and her sister-in-law Chas, after her betrayal - and the events that led to Cain's imprisonment.
Cain has taken the blame for Al's murder, which was actually committed by his 10-year-old son Kyle who accidentally shot Al.
Some of the family know the truth and are covering it up while also trying to free Cain, while some residents have also learned what led to Cain seemingly shooting Al.
Chas was having an affair with Al and Cain was furious, so now Moira blames her for his arrest and for the murder - knowing Kyle and Cain would not have been there had it not been for the affair.
Equally, Moira is furious after Chas allowed others to believe she was Al's mystery woman to cover her tracks.
Speaking about what's ahead, Natalie told us: "Well I am really annoyed. The whole thing about it because Cain, he's aware of it as well.
"It's the fact he throws Moira under the bus as well, she knows she didn't do it but the fact Chas has lied and then threw her under the bus.
"But we definitely have some repercussions for Chas and Moira that's to come. That was a big lie and obviously Moira is very upset about it because that affair led us to this, so she is not a happy bunny."
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays.
