Emmerdale actress Rebecca Sarker has transformed her body as she prepares for a new ITV show.
The 47-year-old is best known for playing Manpreet Sharma but is taking time to undergo a “tough” training regime and has been sharing her journey with her followers on social media. Rebecca posed for a selfie after a gruelling workout showing off her sculpted ab muscles and biceps.
She explained to her Instagram followers: "Bit bruised and battered today. Ice on the ankle, heat on the back, worry on my mind… not long to go @thegamestv." The star included the tags #training, #tough and #RestAndRecovery, the Daily Star reports.

It comes as Rebecca prepares to compete in ITV’s new game show The Games, hosted live by Holly Willoughby and Freddie Flintoff. The new show sees six male and six female competitors battle it out in the athletics arena, the swimming pool, the gymnasium and the velodrome - taking part in various Olympic style events.
She’ll be joined by a few fellow soap stars, including former Coronation Street star Ryan Thomas, along with Craig Tinker actor Colson Smith. Also in the line up are Christine McGuinness, Olivia Attwood, Max George and Kevin Clifton. Rebecca’s co-stars and fans were quick to wish her luck, with Emmerdale’s Charles Anderson actor and fellow gym enthusiast Kevin Mathurin writing: "You can do it, R."
Ash Palmisciano, who plays Matty Barton in the soap, added: "You got this mate!" While Priya Sharma actress Fiona Wade said: "You’re doing amazingly darling! A beautiful warrior."
Other fans also chimed in to wish her luck - though many were concerned about her various injuries. One wrote: "Utterly gorgeous, you have lovely eyes."
Another said: "Don’t worry, speedy recovery with your ankle!” And another said: “You’re so beautiful! You’re doing so well Rebecca, keep up the good work."
