Emmerdale actress Patsy Kensit is best recognised for her role as Sadie King in the long-running ITV soap, a role of which she played between 2004 and 2006, she has also recently appeared in EastEnders.
The TV star, who has also appeared in Holby City, announced the touching news that she is newly engaged to her millionaire boyfriend over the weekend as she shared a series of snaps from the romantic beach proposal.
It comes after the 54-year-old once vowed that she would never walk down the aisle again following four failed marriages.

The soap star has certainly had her share of drama both on and off screen, from Kray twins family connection, pop star fame, multiple marriages, children and everything in between.
We have taken a look into the fascinating life of Patsy Kensit.
Patsy's early life
Patsy Kensit was born on 4 March 1968, to James and Margaret Rose Kensit (née Doohan). She has an older brother, Jamie, born in 1963.
Her mother was a secretary at Dior and former model, who had previously dated Aga Khan IV, while Kensit's father was a close associate of both the Kray Twins and the Richardson Gang, earning himself the nickname "Jimmy the Dip", and was involved in the Great Train Robbery.
He served time in prison before Kensit was born and used a cover as an antiques dealer. Kensit's godfather was Reggie Kray.
Her paternal grandfather was a robber and counterfeiter. Kensit spent her childhood living on a council estate in Hounslow and had to sleep on mattresses on the floor.
Kensit attended Newland House School, St Catherine's School, Twickenham, and Corona Theatre School.
Pop star career
Beginning her career as a child actor, Kensit gained attention when she acted in a string of commercials for Birds Eye frozen peas.
She then went on to appear to appear in several films including The Great Gatsby, Gold, Alfie Darling, The Blue Bird and Hanover Street.
Balancing a dual career as both an actress and a singer, in 1983, Kensit formed and became the lead singer of the pop band Eighth Wonder.
The group produced several successful singles including "I'm Not Scared" and "Cross My Heart" before they sadly split in 1989.
Patsy, has also enjoyed a varied film career and has had roles in major titles. She starred alongside Mel Gibson and Danny Glover in Lethal Weapon 2 and David Bowie in Absolute Beginners.
Patsy's four marriages
Patsy first walked down the aisle in 1988 when she was 22, marrying Dan Donovan from pop group Big Audio Dynamite but they split in 1991.
She went on to marry Simple Minds frontman Jim Kerr in 1992 but they divorced three years later. During her second marriage, she gave birth to her first child, a son named James, in 1993.
In 1997 she married Oasis singer Liam Gallagher, before they split up in 2000. Kensit and Gallagher had a son, Lennon, born 13 September 1999, who was named after John Lennon.
Nine years later, she married DJ Jeremy Healy but they divorced after a year in 2010. Patsy has also been romantically linked with footballer Ryan Giggs, comedian and actor David Walliams and footballer Michael Gray.

And now, despite vowing never to get married again, Patsy recently announced she is newly engaged to her millionaire boyfriend, Patric Cassidy.
Patsy shared the happy news over the weekend as she shared a sweet snap of the romantic beach proposal. In the photograph Patric could be seen down on one knee in the middle of a heart made out of red flower petals on the beach at sunset.
The soap star shared the photograph with her 132,000 followers on Instagram. She simply captioned the photo: "I said Yes" alongside four red heart shape emojis.
The couple are understood to have been dating since August, according to the Daily Mail. However, the couple have not been pictured together until the engagement post was shared on Patsy's Instagram. Patsy, who has been married four times, went on to share a video flashing her huge diamond engagement ring.
