Emmerdale's Liam Fox found fame playing the part of Dan Spencer on the soap, but he has also had a busy life away from the screen.
Finding fame 12 years ago has meant that Liam now gets recognised in the street, but it seems he also has plenty to keep him busy when he isn't working.
The 53-year-old has been on the soap for more than a decade but, originally, he was just meant to have a temporary part on the ITV soap.
Liam explained that at first he was offered the job for six weeks but he was soon signed up for a permanent role and has never looked back.
Away from his life of fame, Liam has faced many happy times as well as some more difficult times, here's a look at his life:
Two marriages
Liam first tied the knot with his first wife ex-Hollyoaks actress Nicole Barber-Lane back in 1999.
He had a son, Ben, 23 and a step-daughter Gemma, 26, with her but they called time on their relationship in 2015.
He them reconnected with his second wife Joanna Hudson and they went on to get married in 2020.
The couple started dating when they first went to University of Salford together but ended up splitting and going their separate ways until they got brought back together again.
Dad's alcohol battle
Liam has opened up in the past about his dad's battle with alcohol.
Two-years-ago he spoke to The Mirror about his dad's 40-year struggle, which sadly went on to kill him in February 2021 at the age of 73.
He passed away from pneumonia but Liam explained it was ultimately caused by his two-bottles-a-day vodka habit.
Liam said: "Dad struggled with alcoholism for nearly 40 years of my life and it was absolutely horrendous for us to watch him get so regularly drunk knowing that one day he would die from the demon drink.
"Even though we repeatedly warned him if he didn’t stop drinking he would die, he couldn’t help himself. If by me talking about what happened can help others, then that has to be a positive thing. Nobody should have to suffer in silence."
Fostering
Liam has said he and his wife JoJo are open to fostering children in the future.
Speaking to new! magazine he said that, although they are not ready yet, it would be something they are open to.
He said: "We are not ready to do it yet, I think to do something like that you have to be ready 100% and with me filming a lot now, it is difficult.
"But it might be something we can do in a few years' time."
