Emmerdale star Lewis Cope teases arrival of mysterious new character linked to Caleb attack

An arrival of a mysterious new Emmerdale character is being teased as part of the Caleb Milligan attack storyline.

Emmerdale fans know there’s going to be a major fallout to the attack on Caleb - played by Will Ash. In the soap, Caleb’s son Nicky is played by Lewis Cope.

Viewers know the pair have been plotting Kim Tate’s potential downfall in recent months. Lewis has teased the arrival of a new character in the shape of his Nicky’s little-known mum.

Speaking to The Mirror, Lewis said: "It would be nice to see Nicky's mum to come into the show because she's been such a pivotal point in the storyline. The only reason Nicky goes along with all of this is to give his mum a better life so it would be nice to introduce her and see the relationship there I think."

The acting star has also acknowledged his character's future could potentially be bleak given many of Nicky and Caleb's secrets are now out in the open. As we previously reported, Nick stated: "I don’t know where Nicky goes from here. Although, I’d like him to stick around.”
