Emmerdale star Daisy Campbell has spoken honestly about her soap axe fears following recent big-name exits.
Daisy Campbell, 19, has played Amelia Spencer in Emmerdale since 2011. She’s been part of some major soap storylines in recent years.
In 2022, she had a big role in Emmerdale’s 50th anniversary celebrations. In October, viewers saw her character go into premature labour while stuck in a barn during a deadly storm.

In the aftermath of the anniversary storylines, characters played by Michael Wildman and Katherine Dow Blyton were killed off. At the start of 2023, Fiona Wade and Darcy Grey also both left the soap.
Daisy has spoken to The Sun about her future. She’s just signed a one-year contract renewal but insists she won’t be resting on her laurels.
Daisy explained: “I’d love to stay on it for as long as I can. I recently signed for another year and couldn’t be happier.
