Emmerdale may have teased a looming exit for troubled teen Noah Dingle on the ITV soap, after his recent antics.
The character was found out, as residents learned he had been stalking his ex-girlfriend Chloe Harris for weeks, and taking photos, recordings and videos of her.
These were all stored on his laptop, and it was said evidence that alerted Chloe to what was going on after her keys and journal had been stolen.
In the fallout, Chloe's friends were trying to get the laptop to the police, and have Noah face punishment for the turmoil he had put her through.
Eventually, it was Noah's own mother Charity Dingle who told the police everything though, and even handed in the laptop as evidence.
The decision has left her and Noah's relationship seriously strained, with her trying to convince him that she did it for his benefit.
Worried about who he had become, and what might happen next if he didn't change now, Charity thought it would be the wake up call he needed.
But this backfired on Tuesday night, when the evidence Charity had handed in was enough to guarantee Noah facing court for his crimes.
Noah and Charity had just had a heart-to-heart about what he had done, and were finally vowing to get through it together.
Harriet Finch then showed up, and the officer told Noah that he needed to return to the police station as the evidence had been assessed.
Noah was horrified and on leaving the station afterwards with his solicitor, it emerged it was going further than Charity had thought it would.
He and the solicitor confirmed that Noah wasn't getting off lightly and had in fact been charged with harassment and breaking and entering.
Not only that, but his case could go to trial it seems, with him having to go to court and possibly receive a custodial sentence.
Noah raged at his mum, blaming her for his situation as he shared his worry that he would go to prison.
So could this lead to an exit for the character, after it was recently teased by Noah actor Jack Downham that he might not get redemption?
