A wedding and a showdown

Kim will overhear Harriet trying to discourage her ex Will Taylor from marrying her, on the night before their wedding day.

Now, new spoilers for the big stunt week reveal Kim gives Harriet a look to suggest there is unfinished business between them, before Kim heads into the direction of Harriet's location during the storm.

After Kim threatens to call off the wedding, Will is insistent he doesn’t want to be with Harriet and puts the ball firmly back in Kim’s court.

So Kim heads off to confront Harriet over her actions, and soon things get heated and violent.

Harriet snaps and grabs Kim by the throat after a tense confrontation, with it teased whether or not Kim will take revenge.

Amelia's baby drama

The lives of villagers may never be the same again (ITV)

The pregnant teen will go into labour after making a "mistake", just as a terrifying storm hits the village.

Amelia will be left trapped and all alone as a windstorm leaves her and her unborn baby in danger, just as she experiences contraction.

Actress Daisy Campbell has revealed her character's bad decision to head off out of the village could leave her in danger.

She explained: "Amelia is on her way to meet Noah at Wylie’s farm for a picnic as he is working there with Marcus.

"She ends up taking a short cut and she gets shifted by a strong gale of wind. She slightly falls but is not hurt but she then starts to feel her first contraction."

Daisy added: "Amelia ends up in a barn in the middle of nowhere, as it’s the only place she can find to shelter.

"She’s really worried at this point as she’s only 16 and is stuck in a raging storm in the middle of nowhere and has no one to help her out. She also can’t get in touch with anyone as all phone signals have been totally cut off due to the storm

Al 'exit' - and a sacrifice

It appears Al Chapman could be exiting the show (ITV)

It appears Al Chapman could be exiting the show, just as it seems his affair with Chas Dingle will be exposed.

Next week, he makes a decision that if he can't be with Chas he's going to leave the village forever, while already planning to dump girlfriend Kerry Wyatt.

The affair has been going on for months, and recently both Chas and Al were torn by their feelings for each other - realising it was more than lust.

But tragedy strikes when Chas' mum Faith Dingle dies, with Chas at a hotel with Al when it happens.

Chas blames him for her not being there when Faith, and tells him it's over for good - and this time there's no going back.

As Al realises he's lost Chas, he makes the confession that if he can't be with her, he's leaving the village for good.

It does seem he sticks around longer than planned as he's forced to choose between Chas and Kerry when both are injured by debris.

Al decides to help Chas, and as Kerry watches on she realises something is going on - but will the truth finally come out?

Heartbreaking fallout

Spoilers have revealed there's a devastating aftermath (ITV)

Spoilers have revealed there's a devastating aftermath to the looming storm.

Towards the end of the week, the storm lifts and the true damage to the village and residents' lives is finally revealed.

As characters survey the damage to The Woolpack pub and elsewhere, families come to terms with the tragic events that have unfolded.

Diane Sugden steps up in her neighbours' time of need, with the fates of several characters not known.

There is worry and concern for some residents in the wake of the traumatic events, and for others there is sadness and grief as news of who has died comes to light.

Diane offers some words of comfort as the villagers rally together, but it's safe to say the village may never be the same again.

As the final episode of the big week airs, the full devastation to the village comes to light and it's up to residents to find a way forward.
