Emmerdale's Cain Dingle is set to make a "haunting" decision next week which leads to a double exit.
Things have been tough for Cain and Kyle recently, as they struggle with the impending hearing. Kyle killed Al during a confrontation in the barn, with Cain taking the blame for what happened and experiencing a small prison stint as a result.
However, keen for his dad to get out of jail, Kyle confessed to causing Al's death and is currently awaiting news on how the police will proceed, as he struggles with his own feelings towards what happened in the barn.
Next week, on the ITV soap, things only seem to be going from strength to strength for Amy and Matty, when she insists her proposal is about their love for one another and not to help her get sole custody of Kyle.
Cain, meanwhile, secures help from Caleb as he battles for Kyle's future, whilst Moira begs him to not make things any worse. Amy is left upset when Caleb intervenes in the custody battle and soon all hell breaks loose.
Carl and Kyle have a violent altercation, and Nicola threatens to get the police involved.
As both parents plead for her not to call the police on Kyle, Cain is left devastated when it's Amy's plea that gets Nicola to stand down with her plan to get the cops involved. It leaves Cain feeling guilty, concerned that everyone blames him for Kyle's violence.
After all that happened, Cain tells Moira that they need to let Kyle go, for his own good. She is horrified to find out that Cain not only wants to give Amy sole custody of Kyle but wants to cut himself completely out of his life.
He suggests to Amy that she moves away with Kyle and gives him a chance to start again.
Moira is horrified by Cain's decision and she warns him that he's making a mistake that will haunt him forever - but will Amy seize the opportunity to have Kyle all to herself and is an exit on the card for the pair?
Amy actress Natalie Ann Jamieson previously praised the young actor who plays Kyle: "He’s such an inquisitive young man. He’s constantly asking questions and wants to know what’s going on.
"He could do any job on set as he knows everything that’s going on. He’s so funny… he’ll talk you through the entire family tree."
