Emmerdale bosses have teased that around eight characters face the possibility of being killed off during the anniversary week.
Since Sunday (October 16), viewers have been gripped by the stormy storyline which has wreaked havoc across the idyllic Yorkshire village.
Life in Emmerdale has been turned upside down, with one victim of the weather being confirmed dead – after Harriet died following a quadbike accident.
The local police officer was caught up in an explosion caused by lightning after she and Kim Tate collided on her wedding day.
Fans had speculated that Sam Dingle may have died after being impaled by a tractor but they've "worked out" who the victim of the cow stampede might actually be.
Meanwhile, director Tim O'Mara has revealed that nobody is safe as the storm continues to destroy the village.
He said: "No one is safe, there's a possibility of eight or nine characters not being around for very long.
"We do go to the hospital on a number of visits, a number of people hurt by debris flying around the village, there are accidents in the woods, trees falling on people.
"There are massive accidents at the farm which might attract the attention of one or two characters."
Tim continued: "There's a massive problem in the village that will involve two of the other characters.
"Plus there's some stunts in the woods nearby.
"And of course, there's a wedding so when you mix all of that up, all these ingredients, it's going to be sensational. No one is safe."
Continuing during a chat with ITV Yorkshire, Tim went on to add: "I really want to make Emmerdale more of a film this time around, it's the most ambitious thing I have ever done.
"Viewers are in for a number of surprises, they will see parts of the village absolutely destroyed."
During Tuesday's episode (October 18), many fans believed that Liv and Vinny had been killed off as they faced a caravan landing just centimetres away from them because of the storm.
Meanwhile, others believe that Nate may die after falling to the ground during the stampede, with several suspecting that his condition will rapidly deteriorate, without him knowing.
Fans believe that the farmer is suffering from internal bleeding, while Sam walks away from his dramatic injuries appearing unharmed.
The tense week is to reach its dramatic climax on Saturday with the soap celebrating its fifth decade on screens.
