Emmerdale couple David and Victoria, played by Matthew Wolfenden and Isabel Hodgins, are set to hit a rocky patch in upcoming scenes on the ITV soap.
Viewers will see the couple lock heads when Victoria discovers she has six points on her license due to taking the blame for David's speeding offence.
Actress Isabel revealed: "David is upfront and honest and does tell her but he should never have put her name down on the speeding fine. She obviously has the three points from when she went through the lights and so she’s furious and rightly so.

"He does have a soul and a moral compass and the guilt was eating him up. Ultimately, Victoria is a great partner and he knows that keeping this from her isn’t right and she needs to know what’s going on"
The soap star went on to say she shared her on-screen character's anger over the situation, she explained: "It’s the betrayal, it’s the lie, it’s the thinking he could do what he did and get away with it and it’s the repercussion of someone then having six points on their licence."
It all comes to head when Victoria finds out about David's deceit as she decides David's actions are all to much and ends the relationship. Isabel continued: "I think it’s out of sheer frustration and an accumulation of all the things he’s done.

"Because she’s taken on his money issues, because he’s been selfish and her son ended up in hospital, because of the speeding fine and the points on her license, and then at his birthday he’s giving it the big 'I am' and she’s at the end of her tether with it."
And while Isabel admitted she does enjoy working alongside her co-star and on-screen partner Matthew, who plays David, she does believe it is the right decision for her character.
Isabel added: "I love working with Matthew and I really like Victoria and David on screen. But speaking for her and as a respect thing, I do think she has made the right decision."
