Emmerdale fans will see new character Suzy Merton cause drama next week on the ITV soap, due to her secret past with existing resident Leyla Harding.
The pair clearly know each other more than they are letting on, with Suzy promising to keep Leyla's secrets.
Leyla is shaken when she spots Suzy in the village with it clear something has gone on, after she recently had some cryptic phone conversations.
But amid all the drama, fans might be wondering why they recognise the actress who plays the new character.
Martelle Edinborough has had a fair few recent TV roles, and has actually already been on Emmerdale in the past.
According to IMDb, Martelle was in the village just four years ago in 2018, when she played the role of a doctor.
She actually featured in harrowing scenes on the ITV soap, as Chas Dingle and Paddy Kirk faced a devastating loss when their newborn baby daughter, Grace, passed away shortly after she was born.
Martelle played the doctor who sadly informed the couple their baby girl didn't have long to live after her birth, before updating their families on what was happening.
She's now set to no doubt feature in scenes with some of these characters again, as she is the new love interest of Paddy's colleague Vanessa Woodfield.
Following this role, Martelle appeared in Cold Feet and BBC daytime soap Doctors, before landing a role on Channel 4's Hollyoaks.
In 2019 she appeared in three episodes as Doctor Keely, who worked at the hospital's mental health unit.
She featured in scenes with Lily McQueen, who was admitted after her battle with self-harming, before the teen's tragic death.
Her other soap roles were on ITV's Coronation Street, where she has played a few different characters between 2018 and 2021.
In 2018, the actress portrayed a clerk on the soap, featuring in the trial of Anna Windass who was charged over an assault on Seb Franklin.
Of course Anna had been set up by evil Pat Phelan, but Anna was found guilty and sent down in scenes that featured Martelle's character.
A year later, she returned to play Jasmine Ridgeway, a talent scout who appeared at the Rovers Return's talent competition Rovers Got Talent.
Then a year on, and just last year, she played a character called Alison Wray for three episodes.
Again linked to the character Seb, this time she played the Police's family liaison officer assigned to Abi Franklin following Seb's heartbreaking murder.
