Emmerdale's Sarah Sugden star Katie Hill was in for a shock when she was sent home from the ITV studios on Tuesday.
The young actress has played Debbie Dingle's daughter on the much-loved soap since 2017. She is the fifth actress to play Sarah, who Debbie shares with Andy Sugden.
Despite the character's young age, she has already endured more trauma than most will in a lifetime. Sarah has spent most of her life in and out of hospital while battling a devastating diagnosis.

Thankfully, Katie has a much happier life - and has a talent not many know about. She often wows her thousands of Instagram followers with her incredible singing voice.
On Tuesday, the 19-year-old had an awkward moment when she turned up for work only to be told she shouldn't have.
Sharing a snap of the studios on her Instagram story at 7.10am, she said: "Not me turning up to work at 7am to be told I'm not even in today [facepalm emoji]".
The ECHO understands Emmerdale's cast members are given a certain number of episodes per year, so they don't need to go to work every day that filming takes place.
Emmerdale airs weekdays at 7.30pm on ITV and the ITV Hub
