Emmerdale's Rosie Bentham and Daisy Campbell have phones stolen on holiday in Ibiza

Emmerdale stars Rosie Bentham and Daisy Campbell ran into trouble while enjoying a girls' holiday in Ibiza.

The young actresses who play Gabby Thomas and Amelia Spencer in the ITV soap were targeted by thieves on their second day abroad as their bags were stolen. The crime left them without phones for their majority of their holiday leading to fans being concerned about their absences on social media.

Explaining their silence, 18-year-old Daisy shared a post on Instagram. It said: "Sorry me and @rosie_betham have been a bit MIA. It would be me and us to get the whole of our bags stolen on the second night, with 0 phones for most of the hol."

The actress added: “But we lived in the moment ahahaha and then eventually got new phones.” Since then, the girls have shared several snaps of them having a great time on holiday - it seems that the incident has failed to dampen their spirits.

They shared several video clips showed them dancing the night away at super club Ushuaia where David Guetta was performing. They were also seen sipping cocktails in colourful bikinis.

In Emmerdale, Daisy’s character Amelia is currently taking weight-gain syrup, convinced changing the shape of her body will mean she gets more likes and followers on her social media page. Meanwhile, Rosie’s character Gabby, convinced herself Jamie Tate had returned to the village and was planning on taking baby Thomas from her and ended up shooting Will Taylor by accident.
