Emmerdale introduced a new character during a recent episode and she’s no stranger to ITV soaps.
During Wednesday night’s episode Dawn was shaken after receiving news that her best friend, Beth, had died of an overdose.
Dawn decided to attend the funeral which is when viewers were introduced to her other friend Jade. After the service, Jade invited Dawn back to her flat but things took a turn for the worse.

She found out Jade was still using, and her home was in a right state. Things didn’t get any better as she later found a young girl who was sleeping in a dog basket.
Confronting Jade, Dawn heard that the girl was Clemmie, daughter of their late friend, and Jade had promised to look after her.
Dawn soon realised that it wasn’t the right environment for a child and after a heated moment with Jade, she managed to get her out of her house.
It’s unknown if Jade will make a regular appearance on the show however we do know that this isn’t the first time the actress has been on an ITV soap.
Actress Abigail Uttley, who played Jade on Emmerdale, has also appeared on Coronation Street. Abigail played Adam Barlow's ex girlfriend Naomi in a number of episodes last year and also starred on the cobbles in 2012.
