Emmerdale's Naomi given harsh ultimatum as truth about who attacked Nicola revealed

Emmerdale's Naomi Walters has a big decision to make, after revealing the truth about the attack on Nicola King - and who the culprits were.

She finally confirmed her own involvement in the attack, detailing that she was there and was the mystery girl who checked on Nicola as she lay bleeding on the floor.

But the newcomer denied using violence, and claimed she too was threatened in the fallout of the crime, revealing she knew one of the girls involved.

During Thursday's episode of the ITV soap, Nicola came face-to-face with Naomi and immediately realised she had met her before.

Experiencing flashbacks from her attack, Nicola began to panic and broke down in tears after recognising Naomi's shoes and her voice.

After denying Nicola's claims, Naomi was seen packing her bags and attempting to leave, claiming to be innocent, but the police arrived to question her.

As Nicola maintained that Naomi was there that day, Naomi continued to deny it but refused to cooperate, leading to her being arrested.

On her release, Charles was furious with Nicola and her husband Jimmy for getting the police involved, questioning if they were being racist.

But he was mortified when he vowed to have it out with the couple again, only for his daughter to make a confession.

She begged him to stop before blurting out: "I was there! That day I was there."

In the latest episode, Naomi's dad told son Ethan and Nicola about Naomi's confession, leaving her horrified.

As Charles urged her to tell him what really happened, Naomi confirmed she was at the scene but did not attack Nicola - while she did watch the attack.

Naomi claimed she was too scared to stop the girls or report them, and then her friend Saskia, one of the attackers, threatened her.

She told Charles: "I went for a drink with a flatmate, Saskia. It was a bit of a party, this girl's 18th, Saskia's mate. Everyone was just up for having a good time. I fitted in, it felt good. These boys kept buying us drinks so we had more than we should have.

"We were just heading to the next bar when it all kicked off in the car park before I realised what was going on."

Naomi said she didn't help or stop the girls because she "froze", adding: "I went up to her after and said I was sorry. I wanted to help her. I was scared, I ran."

She went on: "Saskia threatened me and the other girls, they told us to keep quiet."

Charles said she owed it to Nicola to get her justice, but Naomi told him: "Do you want what happened to her to happen to me? You’ve done nothing for me so far, it's about time you stepped up."

After Naomi refused to go to the police with what she knew, Charles offered her a huge ultimatum and said if she didn't help Nicola get justice, he wanted nothing more to do with her.

As Ethan also walked away, Naomi was devastated - but will she do the right thing and let the girls pay for their crime?

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays.
