Emmerdale airs a twist next week, as Naomi Walters' secret appears to be exposed - as well as her major link to another villager.
Nicola King is shocked as she meets the newcomer for the first time, only to suspect they've met before.
A few clues, according to spoilers, appear to expose Naomi as being at the scene where Nicola was attacked earlier this year.
Nicola was taunted and beaten up by a group of young girls, and left bloodied and bruised on the floor.
One of the girls, whose face wasn't shown, was seen approaching an injured Nicola and saying "sorry", before they too rushed off.
Since then, Nicola has wanted justice after struggling to recover from her ordeal. Next week, it seems she finally comes face-to-face with one of the girls who were there that day, and it's a familiar face.
As Naomi approaches Nicola in the café, Nicola is immediately panicked when she recognises Naomi's voice as being one of the girls. Not only that, but she also recognises Naomi's trainers as those belonging to the girl who stood over her as she was barely conscious on the ground.
But is Naomi about to be revealed as one of the attackers, or someone who stood by and watched it happen without helping her? Or will it be a case of mistaken identity as shoes aren't really enough to prove she was there.
Either way, viewers will have to tune in next week to find out if Nicola is right, and if Naomi has been hiding a dark secret. Viewers had speculated the twist weeks ago after Naomi's arrival on the show, while she has since decided to get to know her father Charles Anderson and her brother Ethan.
Taking to Twitter, one fan said: "Wait until Nicola sees Naomi was with the gang who attacked her." Another predicted: "What's the betting Naomi turns out to be something to do with those girls who attacked Nicola?"
A third viewer tweeted: "Naomi is so rude! I defo think she was one of the girls who attacked Nicola." This was echoed by another viewer who said: "That confrontation there really confirmed my suspicions Naomi was involved in Nicola’s attack."
A fifth viewer asked: "Anyone else think that Charles's daughter, Naomi, will turn out to be one of Nicola's attackers??"
