Emmerdale Michelle Hardwick has given birth to a baby girl.
The soap star, 46, and her producer wife Kate Brooks, 39, became parents to a new daughter earlier this week, as the actress gave birth to Betty Brooks on Tuesday 15 November.
Betty's arrival into the world makes Michelle and Kate parents-of-two, after they first became parents in October 2020 when son Teddy was born.
Announcing her baby girl's birth to her fans, Michelle wrote on Instagram : " Introducing Betty Brooks to the world!Betty made a cheeky early appearance on Tuesday 15th November weighing 5lb 10ozs."
She added: "We all love you so much our beautiful Betty B."
Michelle's 125,000 followers were quick to send the soap star and her wife well-wishes, with some celebrity pals also leaving a sweet message.
Coronation Street star Georgia Taylor told the new mum: "Huge congratulations to you both and such a darling name xxx."
Georgia's Corrie co-star Izzi Warner added: "Omg absolutely LOVE her name - congratulations."
"Hooray!! Welcome to the world beautiful Betty!!! Congratulations all of you xxxx," actor Charlie Condou gushed underneath Michelle's update.
Michelle, 46, and 40-year-old Kate announced back in July that they were expecting their second child together. They later appeared on Loose Women to reveal they're having a baby girl.
The happy couple - who met thanks to Emmerdale - did a live television gender reveal in August while appearing on ITV's Loose Women.
Emmerdale producer Kate and Michelle also opened up about the donor process, with Michelle saying: "We were at the clinic but we didn't know much about it and it, we did a little bit of research.
"It was as simple as what characteristics, like colour hair and we didn't know really...just as long as they're kind really and a lovely person. They sent through two donor CVs."
Kate added: "For us it was important that they were very kind, intelligent, just good family values and the guy we chose had all those attributes."
Michelle - who married Kate in 2019 - gave fans a glimpse of her blossoming baby bump last month, as she prepared to give birth.
The actress, who plays Vanessa Woodford in the ITV soap, posted a sweet black-and-white picture on Instagram of herself grinning at her baby bump.
Alongside the snap, she wrote: "Not long til we meet you baby girl," adding a red heart emoji.
Michelle's co-stars were quick to share their touching messages, with Tracy Metcalfe actress Amy Walsh commenting: "Oh my GODDDDDDD this picture is beautiful."
