Michelle Hardwick has unveiled her special link to a Coronation Street newcomer.
The soap star has played Vanessa Woodfield in the Emmerdale since 2012. Away from the screen, the soap star is happily married to show producer Kate Brooks.
Michelle thrilled fans as she welcomed their second child, Betty, into the world earlier this month. The 46-year-old regularly shares updates of her life on Instagram and has taken to the social media platform to reveal she had a special visitor to her home yesterday.

The soap actress revealed her best friend, Amy Robbins, visited to meet her new Goddaughter. She said: "So 20 years to the day that The Royal first aired, my bestie popped round to meet her Goddaughter. When Amy asked me to be Godmother to one of her daughters a long time ago, I’d never in a million years think she’d be holding my baby girl and calling her Goddaughter too. We love you."
Amy Robbins hails from Bebington and soap fans will recognise her from stints in Emmerdale as she played Defence Barrister Milligan in the long-running soap. She is also the brother of comedian Ted Robbins and the first cousin once removed of the legendary Beatle, Paul McCartney.
The soap star is set to arrive on the Cobbles next week as Daisy Midgeley's mum, Christina. Daisy is played by Charlotte Jordan, who told the ECHO her mum will cause chaos on the Cobbles.
She said: "t's very fractured and distanced as she hadn't really had a relationship with her mum since she was young. It's been so many years and she's 26 now so it's not something where she is this ball of anger.
"She has accepted that this is the relationship and she's more of a nuisance because she pops up every now and then, doesn't really give her much, always tends to want something from her and then just clears off. It's more of a what do you want and why are you here."
