Marlon and Rhona's wedding appears to be on the rocks as his condition worsens.
Marlon and Rhona are finally set to tie the knot after an on-off relationship spanning over a decade. Despite their recent troubles including a stroke severely impacting the relationship for the last few months, they're still happier than ever. Heavy spoilers for their wedding day ahead.
However, whilst on a stag do, Marlon hurts himself and is rushed to hospital where they tell him he has to stay overnight. With the wedding day less than 24 hours away and not being permitted to leave due to high blood pressure, the stress starts to get to him. Paddy joined Marlon in the hospital and despite his best attempts, little can be done to ease his tension.

Since his stroke, Marlon has faced embarrassment and difficulty regarding his new condition and has been worried Rhona will leave him because of it. He promised her he would walk down the aisle to meet her on the day but given how he hospitalised himself even trying, their wedding day looks bleak.
As Rhona is ready to leave her home to head to the church under the promise that neither one of them would be late, Marlon is still bedridden with no sign of leaving. Chas and Faith know of Marlon's condition but have decided to keep it from Rhona in the hope he makes it on time but it doesn't look promising.
