Emmerdale's Mark Charnock is having a great week, having bagged more awards on Monday night.
The Marlon Dingle star won the award for Serial Drama Performance at the National Television Awards on Thursday. The actor has been at the centre of an emotional storyline that saw his character's difficult recovery after having a stroke.
Mark’s sensitive and moving performance was also acknowledged by viewers who at the time also shared their personal experiences.

Accepting the award, he said: "I just want to thank everyone at Emmerdale really, when you embark on a story like this, you've got to do it properly." He also thanked the Stroke Association who he said have "just been so supportive and amazing all the way through".
On Monday (October 17), the 54-year-old also won Best Actor, Best Romance and Best Storyline at the Inside Soap Awards. Sharing a snap of himself with the awards on Twitter, Mark issued a three word message to fans who voted for him.
After thanking everybody, he added: "You are amazing", before going on to say: "It’s safe to say the last few days have been a bit surreal. Xx"
Dawn Fletcher actress Olivia Bromley quickly replied: "INCREDIBLE!", while Emmerdale director Matt Hilton said: "THOROUGHLY deserved, Mark. Huge congratulations!"
