Emmerdale fans have rushed to offer soap icon Lisa Riley their support after she found out her photos are being used in an online scam.
The Lisa Dingle star took to Instagram on Monday to share a warning, with fraudsters said to be asking people for their bank details. The scam is said to involve a "miracle weight loss pill" that "naturally burns fat".
It also references Dragons' Den, however the entrepreneurial show does not endorse weight loss products. In a tweet in 2018, Dragon Deborah Meaden said: "Please ignore the clickbait.. I do not promote or endorse any financial products, snake oil, slimming pills or the secret of eternal youth!. Anyone claiming I do, it's a SCAM!"

"I’ve been sent hundreds of messages saying they have had this sent on #instagram and also #facebook PLEASE DO NOT OPEN IT, report it. It’s a SCAM!! They are asking for bank details. I am so sorry I have absolutely zero control of this….just know it upsets me so much, that this is STILL allowed!!!"
Fans were quick to support Lisa in the comments section. Helen Jane said: "Thank you for spreading awareness of this scam. I've seen it with many other celebrities too."
Karen Chandler said: "Good for you Lisa for letting people know, hope you have a great Monday", while Charlotte said: "It's v v unfair that you have to deal with this, thank you for raising awareness lovely lady x", and Doreen Woodman said: "Good for you Lisa".
