Emmerdale's Lisa Riley says her chemistry with co-star persuaded bosses to make character change

Emmerdale’s Mandy Dingle star Lisa Riley has revealed the real reason why show bosses made a change to Amelia Spencer's character.

Soap viewers would have seen that Amelia, who is played by Daisy Campbell has started working alongside Mandy Dingle in the salon, but this wasn't always the plan for her. Lisa revealed that show bosses loved her chemistry with Amelia when they worked together on a project outside the soap as they got on really well.

"We did the show Britain Get Singing for ITV and me and Daisy got on like a house on fire," Lisa told Inside Soap. "The producers said they saw that camaraderie, which is why they put Amelia in the salon.
