Emmerdale's Leyla Cavanagh could die in horror scenes on the ITV soap after taking a drug overdose.
Leyla's drug addiction has been spiralling as of late, with her unable to control her old habit. She has largely kept everyone in the dark about her addiction, but David Metcalfe recently found out about what she was doing.
However, things took a dark turn tonight as Leyla was rushed to hospital after taking an overdose, with her GP husband Liam now fully aware of how at risk she is of losing her life as he vowed to leave her to fight her addiction alone.
