Emmerdale will air a triple return next week - as Kyle Winchester's killer secret threatens to be exposed.
Fans of the ITV soap were left stunned when it was revealed that Cain Dingle ( Jeff Hordley ) was covering for his son Kyle Winchester after Al Chapman's ( Michael Wildman ) death. Kyle was the one who had pulled the trigger after following Cain down to the barn, as he planned to confront his arch enemy about the affair he was having with Cain's sister Chas (Lucy Pargeter).
On the soap next week, Moira Dingle and Amy Wyatt return back to the village with Kyle in tow as they try and patch up the mess they left behind with Cain still in prison and covering for his son.
Back from Belfast, the atmosphere is clearly frosty on their return, with Matty still upset that Moira and Amy had kept Kyle's secret from him. Amy tells him Kyle is her priority and that's where her focus will be now, whilst she is also determined to help clear Moira’s name as Chloe Harris is still convinced that Moira must have been the one who was having an affair with Al
A tough exchange between the two sees Chloe finally agree to end her 'investigation' but she is dealt another blow when Amy tells her to move out the house. Chloe then drops the bombshell she's pregnant, but will it make Amy change her mind?
Amy later reconciles with Matty before revealing to Moira and Mackenzie that Chloe is pregnant, leaving the latter squirming.
Meanwhile, for Kyle, back in the barn he decides to make a memorial for Al as he struggles with what he's done. The collection of rocks is found by Matty, who realises what Kyle is doing - and is worried for his imminent return to school.
Elsewhere, Moira visits Cain in prison and admits too many people are starting to know about the family's secret. She also suggests that she considers trying to find out who might have been having an affair with Al - as Cain keeps quiet that it was Chas.
The trio - Amy, Moira and Matty - try to keep things as normal as possible as they prepare Kyle to head to school, but their anxiety is very obvious as they worry what he might say or reveal to those around him.
Will Kyle's secret stay that way for too much longer - or will the family be able to keep things under wraps?
