As Emmerdale fans reel from the murder of Al Chapman on Tuesday night's episode, viewers are now predicting that another character could soon be set to leave the show.
Al was shot dead by Cain during Tuesday's episode, following a fight between the two after Cain found out about Al's affair with Chas. But fans believe that this could provide the perfect alibi for Cain.
Many Emmerdale viewers are not convinced that he will go to prison for the crime, suggesting that Al's affair makes for the perfect way to pin his murder on his girlfriend, Kerry Wyatt. After finding Al's lifeless body in the barn, Kerry was understandably devastated - and wasted no time in telling police what she knew.

But fans reckon that Cain could use her discovery of Al's body to his advantage, pinning the murder on her and claiming that she had done it after finding out about Al's affair with Chas. These predictions come as actress, Laura Norton, is set to leave the set soon to go on maternity leave, the Mirror reports.
Fans believe this could be her exit storyline, and that Cain, or "the real killer", could get away with it. Taking to Twitter, one viewer said: "Cain is gonna pin the blame on Kerry saying she found out about Al cheating, and she will be arrested and sent down paving way for her exit storyline/maternity leave."
Another agreed: "Kerry will get framed.. she has motive to kill once it comes out about the affair." A third fan added: "Kerry will get done for it. (She's just had a baby in real life)," as a fourth said: "I think Kerry will go for Al death as the actress is going in maternity leave soon."
Meanwhile, another said: "Ooh maybe Cain will pin it on Kerry? Laura Norton must be due to take maternity leave soon."
It comes after fans feared Cain was about to leave the show, as one said: "Cain is going to run away to France and meet up with Andy, Adam and any other person who has fled there Emmerdale." Another said: "Is Cain going out of Emmerdale as well??"
A third added: "If Cain is leaving I’m actually done watching. I can't lose Cain and Aaron in the same week #Emmerdale." Actor Jeff Hordley who plays Cain recently spoke about his fears that he may be axed from the soap one day.
