Emmerdale star Jeff Hordley is 'so upset' to be losing his co-star Sally Dexter in future scenes.
The actor plays Cain Dingle in the long-running soap while Sally plays his mother Faith Dingle - who has terminal cancer.
Jeff appeared on Tuesday's Lorraine to discuss her upcoming departure from the ITV show.
Chatting about the upcoming scenes, presenter Lorraine confessed it will be 'emotional' to witness.
Jeff told the host: "I'm so upset about losing Sally Dexter though.
"There's a few actors that have come to the show that when they come on set, you can' take your eyes off them and what they do.
"We were doing something just last night and I was just mesmerised watching her, she's so good and she's such a joy to work with. Such a great human being and I'm so sad to be losing her."
The ITV soap fan favourite has seen her health take a turn in recent weeks after learning her cancer had returned and spread through her body, with Faith's family finally learning the heartbreaking truth.
Actress Sally, who is now set to exit the Dales, recently revealed the storyline had been "tough" to film, and that the cast and crew have been a great support.
However, she also added that her final goodbye from the soap will be far from dull.
She promised her character still has “a few madcap schemes” in store, in an interview with TV Times.

"I think it is excellent. I haven't read the scripts for her death, but I'm hoping it's as positive as it can be," she revealed. "This isn't just a story about a cancer; it's a wider story about family.
"That great thing about death is the thing that happens before it, that thing called life, and all the love that goes with it. I'd love it if everyone watching had a little bottle of gin, to toast her!"
Sally also said that her character’s great-granddaughter Sarah will be helping her learn that she can take pleasure in the smaller things in life.
She added: “That's a big learning curve for Faith. She looks at her world in a more appreciative way, and there's one very special moment between her and Cain.”
