Emmerdale actor James Moore is engaged to his girlfriend.
The 29-year-old, who has played Charity Dingle's son Ryan since 2018, celebrated the news on social media after popping the question.
He shared a collection of photos of his girlfriend showing off the pink bejewelled ring as they smiled, with their adorable cat also wanting to join in on the fun as it crawled in front of the camera lens.
He captioned it: "we got engaged!!!! (ft our cat)."
James' co-stars flocked to the comments to offer their congratulations, with Amy Walsh (Tracy Metcalfe) writing: "This is the best news! Congratulations to you both."
While Lawrence Robb - Mack - gushed: "Congratulations by boy!!"
Michelle Hardwick - Vanessa Woodfield - commented: "Huge congratulations to you both."
Lisa Riley (Mandy Dingle) added: "CONGRATULATIONS to you both what great news."
Last year, James paid tribute to his girlfriend during their second anniversary with a sweet Instagram post.
Sharing a variety of photos of them both together, he wrote: "2 years. I can’t believe it. We’ve had 2 amazing, happy, incredible years together. We’ve come so far from where we started. We live together, we have our own little fur baby, and we are stronger than ever.
"I’m so thankful for your support and encouragement and just pure, absolute love that you give me each and every day, and I can’t wait to make some new memories with you in the years to come. Happy anniversary, I love you."
James' first appearance in Emmerdale in June 2018 saw him revealed as Charity's long-lost biological son, who she left at the hospital.
After getting the blessing from his adoptive mum Irene - who had been the midwife who delivered him all those years ago - he got in contact with Charity after she found out he had survived.
Ryan's biological father and police officer Mark Bails had raped Charity years ago and she had been looking for evidence to prosecute him with.
Eventually, Ryan decided to give his biological mother Charity a second chance and has been living in the village ever since.
