Emmerdale star Isobel Steele has endured an awkward moment trying to say goodbye to fans following the death of her character Liv Flaherty.
Tonight, fans were left rushing for the tissues after Liv died. The character’s death came, as part of Emmerdale’s 50th anniversary storyline, after she was crushed by a caravan as she pushed husband Vinny Dingle to safety in the storm which has hit the village.
While Vinny was able to get free, Liv was crushed by the vehicle. As paramedics arrived, Emmerdale residents cleared the roads, while Liv’s family waited for news on her condition. Unfortunately, there was nothing paramedics could do except make her comfortable.

Emmerdale fans saw Isobel Steele share emotional final scenes with family members Aaron Dingle, played by Danny Miller, and Vinny Dingle, played by Bradley Johnson. Confirming her exit, Emmerdale released an interview with Isobel where it was all going fine until she was cheekily interrupted by co-star Bradley.
Isobel, 21, opened: “Hey everyone, I assume you’ve now watched the episode where Liv died. I hope it made you cry. I definitely cried when I read it.
“It has been a pleasure and it has been the best seven years of my life. It has been all worth it because of you. Thank you so much.”
As you can see in the video below Bradley then popped up in Isobel’s exit interview
“Security are asking for your pass back,” joked Bradley before ushering on his now former co-star. “Get your pass, hand it in, and just go. Come on.”
Isobel had been rumoured to leave Emmerdale as we’d previously reported. A source previously confirmed: "It’s been a big decision for Isobel but she’s ready to try new things.
She feels like she’s done all she can at Emmerdale and wants to focus on her music career and make a real go of it. Bosses have pulled out all the stops for the 50th anniversary month and Isobel’s exit will be no different."
