Isabel Hodgins revealed the devastating news that her beloved pet dog has died.
The Emmerdale star, 28, took to Instagram on Monday to break the sad news to her 144k followers and was supported me a number of her soap co-stars.
Isabel joined the soap in 2006 aged just 12 to take on the role of Victoria Sugden and has become a popular character throughout the years.
And announcing the loss of her pet pug, Isabel shared a black-and-white snap of her hugging her pooch called Pierre alongside the words: "11 years and 11 months of unconditional love.
"He was my everything and my heart is broken but I’m so grateful he was mine. To everyone that played a part in his life, thank you so much from the bottom of my heart.
"He was so loved and I know so many people contributed to giving him the best life."
Among her followers sending messages of condolence was co-star Lisa Riley, who wrote: "Wow my heart breaks for you. love and hugs xx"
Laura Norton, who has starred alongside Isabel for a decade as Kerry Wyatt, also penned: "I have no words. The little apple to your pie. He will be greatly missed."
Amy Walsh commented: "I’m so sorry to hear that."
And Charley Webb also wrote: "The best doggy Mama there ever was."
Isobel later shared further snaps on her Instagram Story including one of Pierre's small paw resting on top of her hand.
She captioned the pic: "Sweet dreams P. I loved being your mummy," and included an emoji of a heart with a bandage wrapped around it.
She then uploaded what she called her favourite video of the dog in which he's seen slumped down the side of a grey settee.
Her last post was another video she said was "up there" with the best. It was captioned: "Teenage son probs #pug."
The clip, which is over five years old, saw Isabel asking the dog if he was in a mood. Following her question the animal comically jumped off the bed to get away from her.
