Gabby Thomas could ultimately betray Kim Tate in a huge twist on Emmerdale.
The young villager - who is played by Rosie Bentham on the ITV soap - has grown close with Kim, who is the grandmother to Gabby's baby Thomas, and the pair have recently gone into business together. Gabby is adamant she wants to be a successful business woman and thinks Kim is the right person to show her the ropes.
However, it has been hinted that Gabby could turn on Kim and take everything from her, as actress Rosie revealed Gabby is adamant she wants Home Farm for herself, even if Jamie Tate makes a shock return to the village.
Rosie has revealed Gabby is torn between her dream of being successful but also wanting to be young and enjoy her life.
"I mean, she is a mum at the end of the day, but she's now trying to get a bit more in with Kim and Kim offers her this job," actress Rosie shared, "And there’s this thing with Dawn and all this rivalry with being the most successful. Gabby has always been obsessed with being driven, being successful and having lots of money for her. She wants success. She also wants the life of a 21-year-old."
With the talk on a potential return for Kim's son Jamie Tate after he faked his death to disappear from the village, and with Gabby keen to secure Home Farm in the future, could she be forced to go against Kim to take what she thinks is hers?
"I think it would cause a lot of chaos with Kim as well," Rosie teased, "It would certainly rock the boat at Home Farm as well and whose hands Home Farm will be left in after that, I don't know. But Gabby is hoping that it is hers, but we will see what happens."
Rosie also previously teased she could fill definitely be the one to fill Claire King's shoes.
She told The Mirror: "Gabby is Kim’s little protégé. I love playing tough and ruthless and having scenes where I’m the bad woman because it’s not like me at all. They’re dressing me up and giving me a sexy Kim secretary-type look. It’s fun… I rock up to work in joggers and hoodies and they put me in skirts and heels. Claire’s are big boots to fill… but I reckon I could do it."
