Emmerdale star Danny Miller’s charity football team will be helping to raise for the Rob Burrow campaign and Wakefield Hospice.
Leeds Rhinos legend Rob Burrow, 39, was diagnosed with motor neurone disease in December 2019. Since then, the rugby star and his family have worked tirelessly to help raise awareness and funds for several charities, including Leeds Hospitals Charity £5m appeal to build The Rob Burrow Centre for Motor Neurone Disease.
A charity football match between The Kews FC team and Danny Miller’s Once Upon a Smile Celebrity FC side will be happening at Crofton Community Centre, Middle Lane, in Wakefield. The game will be happening on Saturday, July 31 with it kicking off at 12pm.
