However it wasn’t as relaxing as planned as her bag got stolen with everything inside. She revealed: "We went to Ibiza - me and Rosie, who plays Gabby on the show and she’s my best friend so we though right ‘let's go to Ibiza’ we had it booked for a year.”

The soap star continued: “But we lost our bags. Our phones and our bags got nicked, everything got nicked, and I was just upset about my phone because it had everything on it."

She added: "But it was kind of nice because we had no phone for one tonight so we kind of just lived our lives, it was the best feeling."

She later touched on her dramatic storyline and explained how it sparked reaction from fans. Daisy admitted she has received several messages from teen mums who believe she has done the story justice.

Daisy revealed: "I've had a lot of reaction from young people because I wanted to do this justice for the young teen mums especially and I've had loads of messages telling me that I'm doing it justice. That's what I'm doing this for, it's for them.”

The actress is now a part of ITV's mental health campaign Britain Get Talking which aims to encourage people to look after their mental health by connecting with others.

She noted that Amelia's current situation ties in with the campaign because the youngster feels like she has no one to turn to.
