Emmerdale’s Charley Webb furious after crashing her car

Former Emmerdale star Charley Webb has been left fuming after she crashed her car into a post. The actress, known for playing Debbie Dingle in the hit ITV soap, bumped her car while trying to park into a space.

Sharing the moment with her followers she posted a picture to her Instagram Stories, of her damaged car and wrote: "Good morning to ME. Just bashed my car into a post and this was the result."

She later shared a video about the accident and confirmed that no one was hurt but she felt that today was "not her day".

She said: "The car, yes, really annoying. I was driving into a space, I wasn't even driving fast. If I'd have been driving more than like two miles an hour, it probably would have taken the whole bonnet off.

"Can't believe the damage that it's done. Anyway, no one was hurt. That's the main thing. But it's just really p***** me off."

The actress added: "Then loads of stuff has gone wrong today. I need to just go to bed and just get back up tomorrow because today is not my day.

"And I wouldn't mind, but I went to bed last night and did this really nice abundance, affirmation and manifesting meditation. That did not work, did it?"

Following her hectic day, the star later reunited with her former co-star Roxy Shahidi, who plays Leyla Harding in the soap. Charley shared a selfie of the pair sitting in the car and captioned the picture: “Car chats. Can’t stay next to that face for to long. Not even brushing my eyebrows.” Roxy reposted the snap to her Instagram Stories and said: “Love this human! What is my eyebrow doing?”

At the beginning of this year, Charley announced she was leaving Emmerdale after 19 years. Confirming the news she posted a photo with husband and fellow Emmerdale star, Matthew Wolfenden and said: “This is always my most asked question but I’ve never answered it before because I’ve never wanted to make a big deal of it.

“I left to have Ace 2 years ago. I went back at the end of last year for 10 weeks to complete a storyline. So, I guess officially it’s been a year.I never felt the need to announce it which is why we didn’t.”
