Emmerdale's Charley Webb eyes acting return after leaving ITV soap

Emmerdale star Charley Webb has discussed plans to return to acting following her exit from the soap.

As Emmerdale fans know, Charley, 34, played Debbie Dingle for nearly two decades before leaving the show last year.

At the start of 2022, Charley, who has three children with former co-star Matthew Wolfenden, confirmed her Emmerdale exit.

She said: “I left to have Ace two years ago.

"I went back at the end of last year for ten weeks to complete a storyline so I guess officially it's been a year.

"I never felt the need to announce it so we didn't.”

Charley has now spoken about eyeing a return to acting in the near future.

The conversation was raised during an Instagram Q&A she held.

Charley said: "When the right thing comes to me, I'll be back," she said alongside a photo of her posing in front of the camera in her laptop.

"Can't wait," she added.

Earlier in her career, Charley appeared in The Royal and it will be interesting to see which acting opportunities she pursues.
