Emmerdale star Kevin Mathurin has hinted at a major change for his character. The actor, who is known for his role as Charles Anderson's, teased that Charles' recent threats to bad boy Alex Moore may be a sign of things to come.
Last week the show introduced a new resident to the village, Claudette, who is Charles' no-nonsense mum. Charles' mum making an appearance, will allow viewers to find out more about the village vicar's background.
Speaking about the new storyline, Kevin told Digital Spy: "It's good to know a bit more about Charles' history and get a bit more three-dimensional with the character. We get to see Charles' family, and as his family grows, we get to see other sides of him outside of work – rather than him just being the village vicar.
