Emmerdale icon Cain Dingle is known as being rather grizzly and often the soap’s villain but fans were in hysterics when they got to see him in a whole new light this evening.
Offering a bit of light relief away from the storyline about evil Meena Jutla being in custody, the ITV soap produced a set piece with Cain Dingle, played by Jeff Hordley, dressing up as a superhero.
In an attempt to cheer up son Kyle, the Emmerdale legend wanted to play football with his child but he had different ideas. Instead, Kyle said the pair should dress up as superheroes.

Many Emmerdale viewers seemed to enjoy this part of this evening’s episode rather than all the seriousness around Meena.
