Emmerdale's Amy Walsh has given an update on whether or not she will return to the ITV soap after having a baby.
The actress, who plays Tracy Metcalfe, recently welcomed a baby girl with her EastEnders partner Toby-Alexander Smith. She appeared on ITV's Loose Women on March 25 to discuss her new life as a mum and her return to the soap.
Amy left the series last year after her character exited the village for a new job in Nottingham. The move was brought on by her discovery that her boyfriend at the time, Nate Robinson had slept with Fiona Murphy.

On Loose Women, she said that she 'doesn't know' when exactly she will be heading back to acting. Although she has confirmed that Tracy will be back, she isn't sure of the specific dates.
Speaking to the panelists, she said: "Oh, yeah. I mean, God knows when. I don't know. I've got to figure it out logistically because obviously... [gestures towards baby]"
While on the talk show, the new-mum also spoke of complications that she endured while giving birth. She said: "Yeah, it was tough. It wasn't easy at all. I kind of prepared myself for the worst but it was worse than the worst.
"I had to be induced for various reasons and risk of infection which obviously just catapults you doesn't it. The contractions were going fast but I wasn't dilating.
"It was just really hard to get her out at the end and various other complications. I had an epidural because of the induction but that came out so I had to have another one reinstated mid worst part of your contractions."
