Emmerdale's Adam Thomas has given fans a sneak peek into the transformation of his huge mansion in Cheshire following the closure of his restaurant.
The actor, 34, who shares the sprawling property with his wife Caroline, has been gradually renovating the dated family home and sharing the process.
Most recently, Adam and Caroline have been busy stripping the wallpaper and sanding down the walls in the living room - with the hope that they will have it complete by Christmas.
Caroline, who shares Teddy, seven, and Elsie, four, with Adam, has also been sharing updates on their joint home Instagram account @ourthomashome.
She wrote: "Plaster dust EVERYWHERE!!! But I just keep thinking if Christmas…and where our tree is going to go!!
"Doesn’t anyone else do that!? As you all know I LOVEE Christmas so I’m just looking forward to then!
"Small progress every day, into making our house a home."
"I feel like we don’t have any pretty things to post! We’re in that weird stage where it’s one step forward, two steps back!"
Caroline has also asked followers for their thoughts and advice on the property, often asking for ideas on the light fittings and paint colours.
In one photo she shared a snap of their orangery - which she called "the brightest room in the house".
She wrote: "The most beautiful brightest room in the house! Our Orangery.
Do we think this table is too small? Lighting ideas?? New wallpaper? ( I’m thinking something textured)"
"Also how hard is keeping olive trees alive?? I would love to get a huge one in here?" she added.
The renovation has been a family affair, with the children getting involved to help with stripping the wallpaper.
In one Reel, their son Teddy helped to peel strips from the wall, and help his dad move a TV so they could get behind it and give the wall a good makeover.
Adam and Caroline have also given fans a glimpse into their bedroom - which has a similar theme to the rest of the house with neutral tones and soft furnishings.
Adam, who is the brother of former Corrie star Ryan Thomas, first appeared on screens in 2006 in BBC series Waterloo Road.
He also opened a restaurant chain with his friend Scott Graham, but was forced to close the business recently.
The actor said that they "had an absolute blast" running The Spinn in Gatley, but it was time for a new chapter where he would be focusing on his burger sauce brand Oh My Glaze.

Adam broke the news that the eatery would be closing after locals noticed it had been boarded up and the signage removed: "Unfortunately we have decided to close The Spinn. We did what we had to do with The Spinn and we learnt so much building our first venture and more importantly we had an absolute blast…
"But after 3 years we felt the time was right for us to move on. We are now focusing on the next chapter of The Spinn … The Spinn off and Oh My Glaze."
